Newday is a week long major Christian youth festival with over 8000 attendees. I have been volunteering on the creative team for the past 4 years.
Newday 2022
In 2022 I became one of the leaders of the creative team, taking on the role of a shooting P/D.
This involved managing teams of people, casting creative vision, and sorting out shoot plans, contributors, and locations. I took on responsibility for creating highlight videos throughout the week, as well as producing a TV feature from the event.
The TV feature has yet to be released - this is a supercut that brings together everything we produced in the week.

Newday 2019
In 2019 I volunteered on the creative team as a Camera Operator to help create content to be shown at the event, and for projects that were released after the event.

This highlight video sums up the type of content created throughout the event.

LIVE MUSIC VIDEOS
I helped film music videos for the songs played at the festival, filming on stage during practice and live in the crowd during the live song.
NEWDAY TV - YOUTUBE SERIES
I was a camera operator for a Youtube talk-show series filmed during the event.
Newday 2020/2021 (Online)
In 2020, the festival moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a big challenge and it was really valuable to see how the event and my role changed to abide by the pandemic restrictions and deliver content in a different way.
In both 2020 and 2021, I volunteered as part of a core creative team, which involved live filming, editing, and camera operating.
This built up to a large event finale at the end of the festival week.

This is one of the evening mid-week festival livestreams that I filmed and edited segments of.

I was the vision-mixer for most episodes filmed in 2021, including this mid-week episode above.

GAME SEGMENTS
I was the director, editor, and camera operator for all of the 'game segments' in the livestreams throughout the festival.
Westpoint 2019
In 2019, I volunteered as a photographer for a festival called Westpoint, photographing general camp life as well as the on-stage 'concert'.
